teaches the concepts of salvation, church membership, small
groups and the importance of relationships. It's a
behind-the-scenes look of what Skyline is all about.
How can a person really discover the power to change? With
all the self-help books and tapes on the market, is it
really possible to discover lasting change and growth in a
chaotic world? This landmark teaches the concepts of
personal Bible study, prayer, and learning to spend each day
with Jesus.
Every follower of Christ is given at least one spiritual
gift. Skyline will help its members discover their gift(s)
based on their SHAPE. (Spiritual
Gifts, Heart,
Abilities,
Personality, &
Experiences.) The goal
of our team is to help you express God's love (ministry) by
equipping you to Discover, Demonstrate, and Deepen your
SHAPE for LIFE. This landmark will help you realize the
wonderful ways to discover your SHAPE, demonstrate your
Service, and deepen your Ministry through Servanthood and
Significance.
God’s desire is to develop the skyline of your spiritual
life so that you might help others build the skyline of
their spiritual journeys. This requires intentional,
strategic planning to develop skills that will help a person
bring others along on this great adventure in the journey
through life’s landmarks that leads us to the ultimate
destination when we reach the Skyline of Heaven. This
landmark teaches the concepts of witnessing and
relational-style evangelism. Skyline will also offer it’s
members a chance to be involved in hands-on missions by
traveling to countries in partnership with the General
Baptist International Missions department. |
